Open 10 & 12 Bell Practice at Croydon Minster Tuesday Apr 2 8 pm - 9:30 pm Croydon Minster Church St, Croydon CR0, UKThe 1st Tuesday of every month is the Surrey Association Open 10 & 12 Bell Practice, held at Croydon Minster. This practice is designed to cater for those wanting to build up their experience of ringing on Higher Numbers. Rounds on 12, Plain Hunt on 9/11 are always featured. Grandsire & Stedman Caters is also common. If numbers permit we also ring Cinques. Meet at West Door for 8pm. Parking available outside the Church, plenty of Bus/Tram access from East & West Croydon stations, closest tram stops are Church Street and Reeves Corner

Advance Minor Practice (formerly the DFP) Monday Apr 22 7:30 pm - 9 pm Merstham, St Katharine'sAn advanced 6 bell practice of plain and surprise and minor methods. Regular surprise methods are Cambridge, Norwich, London and Carlisle with Touches in Norwich. Plain methods are Plain and Little Bob, St Clements and Double Oxford Minor, with calls and spliced. New surprise method this year is Bedford - Norwich above and Cambridge below. Minimum ringing level to ring Cambridge from any place bell.
8-bell method practice Wednesday Apr 24 1 pm - 3 pm St Mary the Virgin, East Molesey Bell Rd, Molesey, East Molesey KT8 0SS, UKAll ringers who want to practice 8-bell (triples and major) methods are very welcome. We usually ring a selection of plain hunt, Grandsire, Stedman, Plain Bob major, Little Bob major, Double Norwich and sometimes Cambridge major. We do not ring call changes at this practice.
Budding callers who would like to have a go at calling a touch are always very welcome.
