The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale will be during the library’s normal hours of operation and until noon on Sept. 13 at Brookville Library. Both libraries will be accepting book and DVD donations. We do not accept dictionaries, textbooks, magazines, or damaged items. Laurel Library dates: Sept. 8-10. Brookville Library dates: Sept. 10-13.

Need to patch a hole or sew on a button? Join us for a drop-in session on basic clothing mending. Bring your worn or damaged garments and give them new life! This is a self-guided, hands-on program—tools, materials, and instructional resources will be provided. Library staff and volunteers will be available to offer assistance and answer questions, but patrons will complete mending themselves. All skill levels welcome!
