The Whitewater Canal was built for boats and horses, but this manmade river has become home to many types of wildlife, including ducks, fish, beavers and many others. Join naturalist Curt Burnette from Limberlost State Historic Site for an interactive session to learn about wildlife and explore the canal’s plants and animals. In light of the upcoming total solar event on April 8, we will also discover how animals react during eclipses! Price: $7/adult, $5/youth, 25% discount for members |

On the day of the 2024 total solar eclipse, children will learn about the once-in-a-lifetime celestial event through crafts including corona coloring activity, coloring sheets. There will also be fun eclipse demonstrations, including spinning sun, Earth and moon models at the Grist Mill. No registration required. Recommended for ages 3-10. Price: Free |
