Thread Topic	localendar DNS changes and access issues (for some)
Thread Body	On Friday, June 30, localendar made a change to our public IP address to point to our new home in the cloud. DNS changes typically take from 2-24hrs to propagate across the internet. If someone hits the old localendar ip, they would just get our old infrastructure, but it now points to the cloud database, so no edits or new entries would be lost. 2 days later, and we are still hearing from some members (mostly outside the US) who are having issues connecting to localendar.com. This is very odd. Site like https://dnschecker.org/#A/localendar.com show almost 100% propagation of the new localendar.com IP, but sites like https://www.uptrends.com/tools/uptime show many foreign countries still having trouble. We've talked with our DNS manager (register.com) and everything seems OK from their side, and they added that some servers may take up to 4 days to refresh (!). The doesn't explain why people can't at least hit the original server though. We're watching this problem closely and will provide more information as the situation develops.
