The embedded

calendar will do its best to display within the confines you have given it, but the only way to make sure is

1) Make sure you have allocated enough room for the biggest potential size in each mode
2) You can set scrolling=yes to add optional scroll bars when the content is too big (visually unappealing, but worst-case scenario visitors will still be able to get to the full content)
