I will have a look at the logs and see if we can tie this to a problem. I admit that having a "submitter contact info" section would make tracking this down easier. We could ask that person, "What did you paste?" to try and duplicate the error.


Per my post elsewhere, I'd like to voice support for verification of events. E-mail at the very least should be a required field but additional fields like a telephone number and the person's 'connection' with the event (organiser, fan, venue manager for example) would be useful options.

At present those posting events have clearly been genuine but if you added steps like this it might discourage potential spammers and those just thinking it would be fun to add nonsense. It's a difficult balance. This would also enable a calendar owner to build a database of contributors that could be useful later and encourage the community spirit at the heart of localander?
