Re: edit events Thank you for the follow up. I tested event posting and found out that the edit link will only work in the private mode for parents posting to the calendar. When the calendar moderator switches to public view, then the edit link or key used by parents for edits removes the post from the calendar completely. The only way to use the edit link successfully is to use public view and eliminate the calendar monitor approval. This is a very condensed version of my testing. In other words the public view is the only option that allows outside edits without hindering the post. Trying to edit again after the switch creates a second edit link which indicates a malformed edit event on URL from the web site. I don't particularly want to disable the private to public view since moderating is necessary on this calendar. |
