Re: edit events
Thank you for your help. Here is step by step what I am experiencing as the calendar monitor and as a posting parent. I also confirmed this with the prior calendar monitor from our school so I know this is not an isolated incident. Any further information to correct this is much appreciated. smile

1. This is the first test to see if the edit link provided by a posting parent can be used.

2. I am using the edit link as the posting parent to edit this link and updating.

3. Updating from the email was successful and the post is still private.

4. Logged in as calendar monitor to switch private view to public.

5. Switched post from private to public view.

6. Using edit link to update post in public view.

7. Updating from edit link posted into browser.

8. New edit link provided: Important:

Keep this link someplace safe: http://www.localendar.com/edit/?key=C5U1NT1ZA4JG
It is the only way for you to return to this event to edit or delete it.

Also received a new email link as well as notification from the web page.

9. Checked the public calendar, post has been removed. I refreshed the screen, post is still missing.

10. Logged in as calendar monitor; post is gone. I refreshed the screen, post is still missing.

11. Used this link which is the second edit link provided and this is what I received on the web page:Oops !

Malformed Edit Event url:
http://www.localendar.com/edit/?key=C5U1NT1ZA4JG

Please click here to return to localendar.

12. Tested calendar monitor emails that are received to make sure there was not a problem. It makes no difference, post is still removed either with or without calendar monitor notification.
