Just curious if you have seen this happen anymore since we completely changed the way these links are created?

To clarify one point; the email link you receive is not the same as the re-edit link the user gets. That link in your email should be something like "http://localendar.com.../?DAM=EventEditor&event_id=..."
The users who submit events are getting something more like:
http://www.localendar.com/edit/ohvaparents?key=...

After you change an event from Private to Public, that link emailed to the calendar owner isn't valid anymore.

The date in the email you receive should be formatted according to the date preference of the calendar owner. We'll have a look. This is just a convenience of the notification. It does not change how the data are stored in our system.
