It looks like you did not select a default color for the Chambers category. Because there is no color selected, localendar can't display a legend for this category (because what color would the legend be for?)

I temporarily selected a color for you to demonstrate the legend now appears

OK I now see that. But in your sample calendar - you are able to select or deselect the categories to display. Is this not an option for a block view calendar?
