As for your calendar data, we do allow you to export it to iCal (ics) format, which is extremely portable. In the event we were ever hit by an asteroid or something, you could take this file and import your events into most other major calendar services.

I tried to export to iCal. I used the Export option on the Standard tab (left column) and then the iCal tab. I was able to export to my computer. I opened the file in Excel, and it appears that everything was there.

I then tried to Import that same file back into a second Localendar setup I just opened (different from my paid version). Localendar said that all my header rows were found, but that only 22 events were processed, which seemed strange. And when I opened my calendar, NONE of the 22 were shown. I tried to import again, and got the same result.

Then I chose the CSV tab option, and exported 4 months of data. I then imported it, and 172 events were processed. ALL of them are now shown on my calendar.

So two questions:
1. Is there a better way to import into Localendar from an iCal file, or does this feature not work?
2. Since I am really trying to copy all my data from one Localender to another one, is there some way that I can do this without using export/import? Using export/import, all of the non-default colors for your calendar (Options->Colors), Custom Event Categories (Options>Events (Edit categories)., links on specific events to URL's. etc, are all lost using CSV. I have to reenter this information manually--a lot of work, I have found.
