Performance! If we made it 120 days, someone would undoubtedly ask, "why won't localendar let me look ahead a year?" With the zillions of calendars we serve, we have to set some limits. It takes time to perform all the various date arithmetic. In the case of one-off performances, it's not a big deal, but when you look at all the recurrence functionality we offer, that's a lot of math for all our members and their traffic. That said, we have actually had an open issue for "Year View" which we have been working on. The challenge is twofold: Performance, and a viable display format.
