We were going to add google map links (our old system did that automatically).

Anyway, here goes....

We have 8 teams per division and 3 divisions.

Each team plays each other team in the division at least once during the season, and only teams within their division.

I want to share out links to each team showing only their events.
I want to share out links to each of the 3 divisions showing the coaches in each division only the competitions in their division.
(The scheduler should be able to see everything at once in one view.)

My first take is requesting multiple categories per event and the ability to import events with categories.
I'd have a category for every team and then one for each division.

So

Divison1-TeamAvsTeamB's event would be categorized by Category: Divison 1, Category: TeamA, Category: TeamB
Divison1-TeamAvsTeamC's event would be categorized by Category: Divison 1, Category: TeamA, Category: TeamC
etc.

I'd provide a filtered view link to the coaches for their division (Divison 1) and a filtered link view to each team (TeamA and TeamB) in the first example.

It would be REALLY nice to have multiple categories per event (checkboxes rather than a dropdown)?

It would be REALLY nice to have the ability to import the information from CSV INCLUDING the category as someone else requested.

Stored addresses (with google map links) would be great also, so after year 1, the next year, all that would need to be done is to;

find last year's event and ...
1) change the date
2) select other team's address (since they rotate/swap every year).

This is basically how we maintained our previous calendar.

Without multiple categories per event, it gets hairy.

I'd have to create a TAvsTB category for each competition with in each division.

Let's see that's

AB,AC,AD,AE,AF,AG,AH
BC,BD,BE,BF,BG,BH
CD,CE,CF,CG,CH
DE,CF,CG,CH
EF,EG,EH
FG,FH
GH

28 categories then times 3 for all of the team in the divisions.

84, then 3 categories for the divisions. For the divisions, I'd have to duplicate the events.

To avoid the numerous combinations, alternately, I could create categories for each team and then duplicate the events (one event with a category for TeamA and another event with a category for TeamB, etc. and then duplicate all events for the Divisions.
Less categories, but a lot of duplicate events; a unique category for each one.

Keeping in mind all of these uploads (today) would require manual setting of the categories after the fact.

I hope that helps explain my challenge and my request.

Its a wishlist...so I'm wishing.
