You now have what was the correct design.
If you look at Feb 27, there are boxes around the "week" section that should not be there. Mar 11 extremely incorrect. "Now" has the "borders" the background showing through, which was the intention.

Then it has not been correct for a long time. I did not include a screen shot from Jan 30, 2015, which is the same as the Feb. 27, 2016 one, except the word 'week' is centered.

There is not a way to change the line color at this time. We might include lines for just the white background, but they would still be removed once a background color is selected.

If I could have lines for a white background that would be great. I much prefer the white background. I think it makes the calendar easier to read, plus if one has a lot of custom categories, it is hard to pick a background color that significantly contrasts with all of the category colors.
