Re: Possible Change to 'Add Event' feature in Premium Webmaster subscription Yes, you did answer the questions.. and ultimately this is a very specific enhancement that will require a good chunk of time to implement. Frankly, I'm still not even sure exactly how we could do this and maintain a decent level of usability. We don't want to become a form-building site (that's why we incorporated JotForm) I think it would be more likely that we would expose an API for advanced users, and they could wire that API to their own site to create events. There are problems with exposing an API though, which is why we have been holding back on sharing some of our work in that space. I have seen third-party plugins that create Google Calendar entries from Google Forms (see, even Google has this as a completely separate product) like https://zapier.com/zapbook/zaps/542/use-a-google-form-to-add-new-events-to-a-google-calendar/ You could of course, potentially merge that Google calendar's iCal feed into your localendar. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
