Re: Changing an event's date doesn't change when reminders are sent Often, the people on the event itself actually need the reminders too (and many users have distribution groups they add to events) What I call the "anonymous public users" (those people who view your calendar, but you have no idea who they are) can set reminders, but these reminders are on a "best effort" basis. If you delete an event for example, they won't get a notification the event has been cancelled.
