We give Google a general amount of space, and they use something they call "auto ads" to put in whatever they choose. In some cases, they will show 2 banner ads. In some cases, they might show an add unit that contains multiple small text-based ads.

Frankly, in light of plummeting ad #s given the Covid pandemic, I am not surprised to see them pushing out as many ads as they can. We have seen ad revenue drop to almost nil.

Of course, ads can be removed with even our lowest-level subscription, and you will also unlock a variety of other calendar features.
