From your message, I am inferring that you are allowing visitors to add public events to the calendar. You have the box checked for "Notify 'me' when new events are added'.
The email address on the account to which these mails are sent should be pastor@*****.org (under Options->Security in localendar)

Can you confirm I have captured what you are trying to do and that pastor@*****.org is the email address where you should be receiving notifications?

I am not sure what you are referring to when you mention "a button like before indicating to notify us via the email we provided for contact"
