Re: Reqest for "Daylight" US timezone choices in "Default Event Timezone" pull-down menu Hi, Marc, Thanks for your feedback. I think it's actually more confusing for U.S. and non-U.S. visitors to my LoCalendar webpage to see (in my case for Colorado) "MST" instead of the correct "MDT" times for this time of year. Sandard GMT-based "Standard Time" and "Daylight Savings Time" acronym definitions for timezones in the U.S. are used for Microsoft Control Panel "Date/Time" setting and by various software applications that time-stamp received email/documents of -- EST = Eastern Standard Time = North America = UTC - 5 hours EDT = Eastern Standard Time = North America = UTC - 4 hours CST = Central Standard Time = North America = UTC - 6 hours CDT = Central Standard Time = North America = UTC - 5 hours MST = Mountain Standard Time = North America = UTC - 7 hours MDT = Mountain Standard Time = North America = UTC - 6 hours PST = Pacific Standard Time = North America = UTC - 8 hours PDT = Pacific Standard Time = North America = UTC - 7 hours If it's not difficult to do, wouldn't it make sense for LoCalendar to provide these same timezone abbreviation choices to make calendar event-times truly accurate to distinguish when we're in the Daylight Savings Time part of the year?
