"Happening Soon" not fitting in website
I want to add an "upcoming events" type feed to the homepage of our website. We have designated a small spot where we want this to go. We tried using the "Today + Happening Soon" Interactive html, but the events/text hung outside of the designated space that we have.
We also tried the iframe to edit the size of the html, but now events are getting cut off. You can see that here on the right side of the page: http://www.ywcadallas.org/default-cal.asp

I'm thinking an RSS feed might be the answer, but when I've tried this, I keep getting error messages. Will someone walk me through the process a little more or tell me another way that I can have an "upcoming events" feature that will fit in this small designated space?
(Currently we are adding upcoming events to the homepage manually- you can see that here: http://www.ywcadallas.org/default.asp)
Thanks!

Re: "Happening Soon" not fitting in website
Ah yes, so many different calendar display formats, but so many different sites to fit into... smile

First, the RSS feed for your calendar is here:
http://www.localendar.com/public/dcarranza?style=M3
But you can't just paste that into a web page. You'd need some kind of RSS widget like this: http://webrss.com

The week-list style view might fit better:
http://www.localendar.com/public/dcarranza?style=W1 but it shows the full descriptions.

The "Happening Soon" view shows the dates down the side, which does not fit well in your limited space. I really think we need to add a preference to move the dates across the top.

BTW, did you try the "non-interactive" embedded calendar? That should still fit inside your space (not sure why the interactive one did not). The "Today+Soon" view doesn't have any special controls that make either of these view-styles different.

I'll let you know when we add an option to tighten up that view-style!
