Reminders not always working
Hi, there!

I've just discovered that while most of my reminders are working, some are not.

Is there a limit on the number of reminders we can have?

Are there any known issues that will affect my reminders?

For example, should I set them to go a day before, or a week before? And is there a problem with having multiple reminder addresses?

I've done a search on the forums, but can't find anything that addresses this.

I can't seem to see a pattern in the reminders that didn't go out.

Any assistance will be much appreciated!

Regards,
Susan C

Re: Reminders not always working
Nope - if you get some you should get them all (as long as you configure them before the period they would be sent, of course smile )

Have you checked to see if any are being directed to your spam folder?

Hi, Marc:

Yes, that was the first thing I checked. And the other recipient checked too. Neither of us received the reminder.

Do you know which event didn't receive the reminder? I don't see any errors in our logs.

Re: Reminders not always working
Hi, Marc:

Yes, the event was originally scheduled on May 15.
The text was:
PRIVATE: Renew mailbox -- due June 1

It was to be sent to info@trianglesquares.com
and treasurer@trianglesquares.com

In my effort to do some troubleshooting,
I changed it to May 16.
I think I originally had the reminder for a week before that --
can't remember, to be honest.
It's now one day before.

Anyway... the point is that neither of us got a note.

There were two other ones that also didn't trigger a reminder.
This is how I noticed something was wrong.

Both were August 1, with the reminder to go out a week before.
The first one is PRIVATE: Arrange for sound system.
The second one is PRIVATE: Convention rate for first-timers.

Nothing came through to my email box from either of those.

Re: Reminders not always working
I have reminders set for events every Sat and Sun. The last successful reminder I've had for these was on 1st Aug. None have worked since then.

Reminders are configured to be sent via email one week in advance. The title of the event is:

'Opening up - Volunteer needed'

Any update on what the problem is or when it will be fixed?

Re: Reminders not always working
I've set up some daily test reminders that work fine (and havent seen any other tickets)

I will set up some weekly ones and see if that specific interval has a problem.

Re: Reminders not always working
I had trouble with reminders not working for most of August. Then at the beginning of this month they started to work again. However, my reminders for this weekend didn't come through so it looks like the problem has started up again.

The next reminders I expect to happen are for the week ahead reminders for the events on Sat 5th and Sun 6th Oct. Wonder if they will work.

Re: Reminders not always working
Still not seeing a problem in our logs. All emails seem to be going out.
If you miss a reminder, please email us with the date, time, and title of the event for us to research.
