angry   Ads on my calendar
Why are their ads on my calendar all of a sudden? I am not going to be advertising anyone on my website unless they pay me directly.
So much for being able to use your calendars now.
Unless you explain how to disable it, I won't be using your calendars any more.

Re: Ads on my calendar
All members receive a free 30-day trial of Premium Webmaster, which includes no ads and other features. You may have noticed the large "Subscribe Now" link on the left menu since you signed up.

If you clicked that link, it would bring you to this page, which explains our features:

Your question is also asked/answered in our FAQ:
http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Remove+Calendar+Ads

and subscriptions are explained (again) here also:
http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Subscriptions

Also, before you sign up, the subscriptions are explained here:

Re: Ads on my calendar
Well, then your ads lie saying it is a free web calendar. That is a shame. It should not say FREE in front of web calendar. It should say 30 day trial with no ads. Very deceiving. I'll take my business elsewhere thank you.

Re: Ads on my calendar
Google Search is free, but it has ads.
gmail is free, but it has ads.
Yahoo mail is free, but it has ads.
Television is free, but it has ads.

localendar provides you with a free web calendar that has ads to support it. The definition of "free" does not included the notion of "No ads". You can subscribe for as little as 83 cents a month to remove the ads if you wish. The fact that the free calendar is ad-supported is noted in numerous places on our site (before and after you sign up). There are no surprises.

Alas, we aren't able to provide web hosting, disk storage, software development and support as a public service with no means to pay for it (if you know how, please let us know).

I wish you luck in your search to find a "free" calendar equal to localendar with no advertisements, subscriptions, or other branding.
