Option for TimeZone does not affect AddEvent
When I in Options select 24 hours time format, the time format in "Add Event" is still in 12 hours time format

That is correct; the time format currently only affects the display of data on your calendar; not entry.

But, we should work the way you suggest, so we did some quick work and pushed out an upgrade smile
