Colors, 30 Day Free Trial of Premium Services, Pricing
I have 3 different areas of questions (submitted via e-mail to support but told may not get answered so....

I have implemented a calendar (logon pawplatoon) and have attempted to changes colors such that "all" text is in white (background is lattice). While I make these changes under Options/Preferences, the changes look correct. But when I save these changes then publish the calendar, I notice the day/week block/list views are correct but the month views are not. The block view shows title correctly in white but days are black. The list view shows title in black but days in white. Naturally, these are the views I am interested in but can't seem to get them working properly. I read all threads and noticed some acknowledgement of problems with color editing feature that is up from some overhaul. Perhaps this problem will also be addressed in upcoming changes? If so, when will this happen? If not, how do I fix this?

I 'just' implemented this calendar but do not see the free for 30 days features (i.e. adding an event) showing up on my calendar? Why is this and how can this be fixed? I hope my "30 days" only starts when this has been fixed. Note after attempting to send this e-mail (which failed), I discovered the Add Event feature, for instance, shows up on the calendar if I scroll to January but December does not show this as well as other features. Please explain.

Finally, do I understand correctly that if I desire premium webmaster features, I must pay an annual premium for 'each' calendar I implement regardless of whether it is implemented on the same web site for same group or not?

Correct. The Forums are now the primary support mechanism

The block view shows title correctly in white but days are black. The list view shows title in black but days in white.

The colors on the "month" view are set separetly from the colors on the day/week "List" view. Choose the view whose colors you want to change in the drop-down at the top of the Colors tab. You can have different color settings for the "block" and "list" views.

Based on your other post, and this comment, I'm assuming your browser is caching pages at a whim. Make sure if you're using IE you select "Every visit to the page" under Tools->Internet Options->Settings.

All members receive a free 30-day trial of premium services which starts when they create their account smile

Correct. The subscriptions are "per calendar". Unless you go the cobranding route which can allow you to create an unlimited number of calendars, each having all the features of the Premium Basic or Premium Webmaster subscription. (depending on which cobrander subscription is purchased)

Re: Colors, 30 Day Free Trial of Premium Services, Pricing
You misunderstood on the colors issue. When I am in Options, colors appear correct for all views (at least as I wanted them). When I click on Publish, however, the colors for the views I really care about change to as I described in previous post. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do from Options to ensure the changes "stick" by the time I get to Publish.

As to the Add Event comment, what I meant was that it was always true that the December month did not show those buttons but always did if you went to January for example. However, having said this, I went to look at this again today, and these features now seem to be present on the December month now. However, now I see the title/current month/months and arrows both at the top of the calendar and underneath. And that's not right either.

Note, this is not what I see when I go to localendar and look at it prior to and after publish.

Assuming you clicked "Save" after selecting your colors, then all of the problems you are describing could be caused by IE caching pages incorrectly. Did you make the change I suggested in the previous post?

In answer to your question, yes.

Also, I haven't looked at this for several days. I just went back to re-test the Add Event feature. I got an "Oops" error message on top of which when I click on go back to localendar, it sent me back to a different calendar (I created another calendar after this one and that's where I was routed to). There seems to be some buggy things happening with this tool and in order to complete my evaluation of this tool to determine if this will be the implementation of choice, I need these problems resolved.

I don't think there are any problems on our side to be resolved (note; that your message is not part of a chorus of people posting the same problems - it seems restricted to your environment)

You need to have cookies, javascript, page caching, etc set up for a web application like localendar to work correctly. I'm not sure what you're clicking on to get these Oops messages, or being taken to different calendars you've created; but we have hundreds of thousands of members who use localendar without difficulty. If all else fails, I'd try using localendar from a different computer.

Re: Colors, 30 Day Free Trial of Premium Services, Pricing
I do have java, page caching, etc., set up on my computer. I do not have access to another computer to test this.

I did notice something that is consistent with respect to the colors issue only. In the month views (which are the views I'm having this difficulty with) when I go into Options and highlight a weekday/weekend date in order to set colors then choose transparent on the background, then I can't seem to change the color of the day (i.e. the text date for each weekday). It insists on remaining black which, up against a dark background, is hardly visible. But if I do NOT choose transparent but instead choose some color which then creates a block for each weekday in that color over top of my calendar background, then I have no problems with selecting a text color and getting that correctly displayed. So the problem with colors, at least as far as my testing went, seems to be specific to that scenario.

Re: Colors, 30 Day Free Trial of Premium Services, Pricing
I too, am having problems getting the fonts to what color I need them to be in. I would like to use various colors for the font, but can't seem to figure out how to do it. I am using the Purple Haze calendar with a back background, but I seem to have no control over what color font will be displayed on the calendar after posting an event. Actually, if I can at least get all fonts to be white, I would be happy. Any help on this?

Re: Colors, 30 Day Free Trial of Premium Services, Pricing
Fonts are tricky because they can always be overriden by a user's browser settings (the original color, as well as the color of a link, and the color of a visited link)

In may cases, you can force a color by using the HTML font tag. For example, in an event title you might try:
<FONT color=red>This is a red event</FONT>

In the color= bit, you could also use any of the color codes that are displayed when you pick a custom background color.
