Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
Is there any plan to add more standard images?

Under Entertainment, things like more musical instruments besides a piano would be handy, such as an acoustic and an electric guitar, sax, trumpet, trombone, harmonica, vocalist & drums would be great!

Anyone else have ideas on some of the other categories?

Possibly; the new format makes it a little easier. Plus, you can always add the url of an image you host locally (or elsewhere on the internet)

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
Yes, I have already done that for a few entries.

The link image appears as part of the description which is a good thing.

I'm thinking of the images that appear on the calendar itself.

I don't know if the system allows anything but the standard images. Is there a way to add our own small icon type images to that?

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
OK, that's a great addition, but it still would be good if such added standard images could be able to be part of a calendar entry to reflect the event posted or one could add any from our own resource base.

As far as I can tell, the actual visible calendar can't show any but the present standad images that are sometimes a bit of a stretch to highlight some of the events we post.

If I'm wrong, please let me know how to add our own.

Thanks,

Jim

Not sure I follow you; if we allow members to upload their own images and use them under the "Add an image" section of the Event Editor, will this address your feature-request?

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
Please add new images that are viewable on the monthly calendar. We own a vacation home and love localendar but are a little frustrated with the image selection. I can give some suggestions if you'd like.

Thanks

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
I would like to upload images and use them under "Add an Image." Is there anyway to do the same for a background image or banner?

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
Currently no; but we are planning on adding that capability.

Re: Any New Images Planned & Suggestions
As long as such an image can appear on the visible calendar in about the same size as the existing standard images that would satisfy my request.

The standard images are good, there just aren't enough of them especially in the entertainment area I'm involved in. There's a piano, but no other musical instruments like guitars (acoustic/electric), sax, horns (sax, trumpet etc).

A few more standard images would be nice, but if I can upload my own to have appear on the visible calendar that certainly will do the job.
