Allow an "include" list as well as a "skip list" Sometimes I have an event which occurs multiple times, but there is no regularity about it so I can't use the "repeat" feature". The "skip" feature will not work because there are two many dates to be skipped. It would be nice to have a box similar to the "skip dates" box which is instead an "include dates" box. (At the moment I just use the "save as copy" feature.) |

I so completely agree. I hope to see this someday. ---------------------------------------- Peer-Support Specialist |

Re: Allow an "include" list as well as a "skip list" Interesting idea. Would you mind if these were all saved as individual occurrences (as they are when you do "save as"), or do you think they should be all linked together (as for current repeating events)? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Allow an "include" list as well as a "skip list" I would think they should be a single linked item, that repeats. Otherwise you do save as...but it might be cool to be able to save as to multiple dates as well.... ---------------------------------------- Peer-Support Specialist |

Re: Allow an "include" list as well as a "skip list" This is what I do all the time, and didn't like it but had to keep recreating a new event for each additional day it accrued. I would like to have the option to include date stars dated ends and it adds it to each day without having to keep repeating the add event. |

Re: Allow an "include" list as well as a "skip list" One other question: Any upper limit on the number of occurrences? I think "skips" are capped at 10. Would that be ok for these "irregular" repeats? Would you want these to be saved as a single event across those dates or as separate occurrences? (so that each could be edited/deleted individually afterwards) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
