Exceeded character limit error
I apologize if this has been asked before.

I'm getting an error that tells me something to the effect that my calendar entry is too long. The max is 2000 characters and I'm entering over 3000. However, all I'm enterng is three lines of text and it gives me the same error even if I delete some of it.

How do I fix that ?

Re: Exceeded character limit error
Are you pasting the text from another program, such as Word?
Word adds a lot of hidden characters that don't appear, but may blow you over the limit.

I would recommend composing your event in the localendar Event Editor, and if you're not able to achieve the output you want, please let us know so we can improve that page.

Re: Exceeded character limit error
I have been experimenting with our current calendar which we use for scheduling conference rooms.

I'd like to use a new one for posting CE classes.

we know there is a limit in the "description" field because we hve added info and it does not save. We figured out it was the space.

I just tried for myself and did not get an error message.

Thanks.
