Email Reminders contain unneeded information.
Why do the reminders sent via email contain unneeded information, e.g., &nbsp, <font face+'Arial'>, &amp, etc. See example below.

You requested a reminder for the following item:

[7:00 AM Jul 28, 2007]

Re: Email Reminders contain unneeded information.
Email reminders are sent in HTML format by default. Is your email client able to accept html formatted mail?

I also get the html tags in the reminders. I can receive HTML emails.

Thanks

Re: Email Reminders contain unneeded information.
Yep; we've confirmed the content type for our emails is txt/html, so we're investigating other possible causes.

Re: Email Reminders contain unneeded information.
A month has passed. Has any progress been made on this problem? Is anyone else experiencing this?

All the html text makes the reminder so hard to read it's almost worthless using the feature. It's a great concept, but it really should work properly before its available as an option.

Thanks

Re: Email Reminders contain unneeded information.
Alas, issues are queued based on a variety of criteria, and there is also ongoing work. The "image upload" feature as well as some other major initiatives have been taking a lot of development resources.

I know this item is in the queue along with a few other fixes.

The fix should be out there by the time you read this.
