Embedded Calendar- Height Can the height of my embedded monthly calendar be variable? For example, during October it needs to be about 1400, but for November it only needs to be 900. I would like for it to adjust automatically. I tried changing the height to "%" instead of a fixed number, but that didn't work. Page in reference: http://m2m3.net/calendar Thanks, Dana |

Re: Embedded Calendar- Height The "fully-interactive" embedded calendar uses the IFRAME/ILAYER tags (IFRAME for Internet Explorer, ILAYER for Netscape) Unfortunately, these tags can't "auto-size" the embedded frame for the size of the content they contain. Typically, members will increase the height setting to be big enough for the largest calendar that the frame *could* contain. You can also set the scrolling=no part of your pasted HTML to scrolling=yes. This will let visitors scroll to see the entire calendar when it exceeds the expected height. I recommend a combination of these strategies. Set a height big enough for your average calendar, but set scrolling=yes to handle larger-than-normal ones. You could also use the non-interactive embedded calendar, which does auto-size, but at the loss of some functionality (specifically the ability to move forward/backward to other months) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
