Subscription refunds I cancelled my two subscriptions for the Town of Sebago's localendar account more than a year ago but was still charged for renewal of the annual subscription through PayPal for $29.95 x 2. E-mails to localendar have been ignored, both sent through their official form and sent to their two e-mail addresses. Can anyone tell me how to get their attention? Does anyone have a phone number of live person to talk to in customer service, or a real e-mail address that doesn't generate a form response? Help! Re: Subscription refunds If you would scan the forums for subscriptions, or cancellations, you would see that this issue has been covered many times before (not to dispute your issue - I just wish to point out that your query, like many others posted here, could be answered with a search rather than waiting for a human response) localendar subscriptions are managed by PayPal. Writing to us to cancel a subscription is always met with a note that you must cancel your subscription through your PayPal account. We do not store payment or billing information: PayPal does. If a subscription is not cancelled via your account, they will re-bill. I can refund your account payments if you post the calendar names, but to avoid a re-bill next year .. please cancel through PP. BTW, emails aren't ignored.. but please understand we do get a lot of them. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Subscription refunds I know that paypal isn't static in it's layout, but perhaps if you mention how to find a paypal users subscriptions, on paypal, it may help. I took a look, and can't find it myself. ---------------------------------------- Peer-Support Specialist |

Re: Subscription refunds Usually it's in a section called "upcoming payments" If you search for "cancel subscription" it comes up as the top result. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Subscription refunds Marc - My calendar names were "townofsebago" and "townofsebagoevents". Subscription numbers were 5MC598313K262928 and S-05X11232SX238284X I look forward to refunds of $29.95 for each of these two accounts. Re: Subscription refunds When you can confirm that you have canceled your subscriptions through your PayPal account, I would be happy to give you a refund (since you asked so nicely). I wouldn't want to see another similar message next year b/c you didn't change anything on your PayPal account. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
