Paid for but NOT activated..........
I recently purchased the $9.95 plan and it has been over 2 Hours and it still is NOT active. PayPal has sent me a payment verification. I need to have the Ads taken off of GWChurch because they are inappropriate. Will you please see if my subscription has been activated so I can take off the Ads. Thank you, GWChurch

Re: Paid for but NOT activated..........
Sometimes PayPal is a little slow in sending us notification. I checked your subscription and it should be all set.

PayPal is not slow, it is you guys that are slow and you are just blaming PayPal because that is the easy way.

PayPal sends out its confirmations instantly.

This is a big problem for you guys because by what I have read in the forum, nobody is watching and you are not making an effort to solve these aggravating problems.

I want what I paid for.

Re: Paid for but NOT activated..........
Unfortunately, Bob, you are incorrect. And posting messages all across the site it only making response time slower for everyone.

If you do a little research, you would find many people have issues with PayPal's "IPN (instant payment notification)" service.

You never hear about the thousands of subscriptions that occur flawlessy; only people like yourself who have problems post a message.

We certainly wish the service was 100% and that we did not have to process certain transactions manually, but we do.

Does everyone who uses PayPal have these issues? I don't know. But on the PayPal developer site you can see many issues which may be a reflection of architecture, language, payment category (e.g., subscriptions) or other items. We cannot perpetually change things around on our underlying technology without some guarantee that it would may payments 100% reliable.
