Marc,

I login to lo-cal and then on occasion come out to the forum. once I am at the forum page I have to log in again. If I check the remember me box it doesn't take it only works as far as my calendar. Why? In my mind (at least at the moment) I should only have to log in once, then if I decide to visit the forum I shouldn't be listed as a guest and have to log in again to post anything. Even if I log in and check the remember me box, I will have to log in again on my next visit be it an hour later, a day, or a week. Is someone looking into this?

Re: log in
I agree, and yes we're looking into it.

The technical roots of this issue (in case people are interested) have to do with how the forums were written. They were originally based on an open-source product.

B/c of this, we had to handle the integration between localendar and the forums in a manner which would not bring any forum code into the existing localendar code. That could have forced localendar to obey the GPL.

Having this distinct separation has led to a few issues like the authentication one you note.

In the meantime. . . . . you might try 'right-clicking' on the community forms link and opening in a new window. This work around seems to work fine for me.
