Error (new) while trying to sync calendar
Premium Service account, Windows XP (SP3), Outlook 2003 (SP3).

I'm trying to sync my calendar to Outlook so I can sync it to my Windows Mobile 6 phone. I've being doing this with export WeSync plugin for the last couple years without a problem. I just recently upgraded to SP3 on both Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows XP and I think this might be the culprit. I go to sync, I enter the start and end dates, and it pulls up all the events to be sync'd fine. Then when I click "synchronize" it starts to do it and then almost immediately pops up a very small error window box that says "Operation Aborted". I click OK and it shows the sync status bar process about one bar done and it just hangs there. I have to click Exit at the bottom of the plug-in to get out of it.

Has anyone else had any trouble trying to sync since upgrading to SP3?

Re: Error (new) while trying to sync calendar
Unfortunately, I'm already on Vista sad
But the sync component was provided by an external vendor. Let me contact them and see if they've discovered any issues.

Re: Error (new) while trying to sync calendar
Here was the response I received from the vendor:

Most common cause of this particular error is that ActiveSync is running while they are trying to sync. Please have your customer try the sync while their mobile device is UN-CRADLED (or NOT plugged into a USB port).

Can you respond to this suggestion?

Re: Error (new) while trying to sync calendar
Well I just tried that and it worked. Strange, but it seems to be a workaround anyway.

Thanks for following up!
