Secure Calendar problems When I open my secure calendar it opens just fine if I use my ID & Password. But when I close the calendar (red X at top right of screen - the only way to close it), I can turn around and re-open it again without the ID and Password by just re-typing the URL address or clicking on my "my favorites" button for that calendar. Plus, if I then go to the admin log in (www.localendar.com) area, it automatically opens to the secure calendar without even going to the log in screen and asking for my id and passoword! Once I use the log out button to leave that admin calendar, it re-sets everything. My worry is that anyone using the secure calendar is not really able to safely sign out from the calendar and that compromises it's security feature. That sign in feature is the only reason I need to make this a Premium calendar (payment will be sent as soon as I get a reply - we are in our free period now). |

Re: Secure Calendar problems Make sure you are returning to your calendar view, where you will see a "sign off" button on the left menu. Be sure to click there to log yourself out and maintain your security. Let me know if this helps. Sarah Giles Support Associate Localendar |

Re: Secure Calendar problems If you clicked the "remember my id and password" on the homepage when you signed in, then *your* browser (and yours alone) will be logged back into the site automatically via a persistent cookie. The easiest way to clear this is by clicking the Sign Off button on the left menu. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
