![]() I've noticed that there are ads now being displayed in the calendar on days. I've never notices it before. I remember them being to the side or something. I like the free service for my non-profit organization, is there a way to fix this? Or at least, let us choose where the ads will be displayed and leave it up to us? There just annoying to have appear in the calendar dates. Thanks for your time, Derek |

Re: Ads on calendar days?? In the past, we have ads at the top of the calendar, the bottom, and most recently on the right. We have been experimenting with embedded ads; no more than 2 per row and a maximum of 3 total. The total amount of screen real estate currently devoted to ads is actually less now since the number has decreased from 5 to 3. Plus, the lack of a dedicated "ad space" actually gives the calendar more room. We are monitoring member reaction to the change and are using it to inform our work in this area. I should also mention that with a Premium Basic subscription, all ads are removed from the calendar (as well as the other features which are then available, like uploading your own clipart). A Basic subscription is about 83 cents a month. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Ads on calendar days??
Add a repeating event in your calendar, with a space as the content, to repeat daily forever. No more ads. And the null event is way less intrusive than the ads. The only problem is that you can't delete or edit this event because the Localendar software sucks. |
