Public versus Private
We're currently using localendar and I was thinking about upgrading to one of the Premium versions to get rid of the ads (some of the ads are inappropriate for our g-rated audience
shame on you )

At the same time, I wanted to consider he other features-- but I have a question... If our calendar is viewable to the public, must an associated discussion board also be publicly viewable, or is there a way to keep it private so that only members can view and post to it?

Just wondering....
Thanks!

Re: Public versus Private
The discussion board will be public (although it can basically be empty with no forums if you so choose)

Vistitors will have to create a sign-on to access the forums.. and forums can be locked to make them "read" only.

To my knowledge, they can't be restricted to particular members however (not without restricting the calendar to the same members, I believe)
