Blocking out dates...
I own rental condos in Corpus Christi, Texas and I want to use this calendar on my website. Can anyone tell me if this calendar will block out the days that someone wants to book the rental so that noone else can book the same days? If so does it do it automatically or is it manual? I have two condos but don't want to have an issue with multiple people renting the same days. I appreciate any information. Also if anyone is interested the website is www.ccbaycondos.com. We are currently still in the process of creating the website but it is up and running. Thank you for your help.

Re: Blocking out dates...
Some people who use the calendar for this purpose add an "all day" event on days their rental property is unavailable. It doesn't prevent people from adding events on that date (if you've enabled that functionality) but does get that information across.

Thanks for the info. How do I enable that feature?

Re: Blocking out dates...
Just add an event on a day you are booked and mark it as "All Day" on the event editor. Some people make the event title "Booked" and even pick a specific color for booked dates.

If you book several days at a time, no need to add multiple events. Click on the "This Event Repeats" section and have the single event span all the dates that are taken.
