Posting on calendar I have written several days ago wanting to know what happened to our calendar over the summer....we were able to have staff members post options to our calendar and NOW we can't. please advise what happened. We have teachers wanting to sign up for classes and they cannot do it....very frustrating!! |

Re: Posting on calendar I'm not sure what problem you're referring to, but a few people seem to have old javascript files cached on their computers. Here's my standard reply: We have not had any code changes on our side since we're in the middle of the busy "back-to-school" calendaring season. The issue may be a problem with your ISP, or your browser's cache. Please visit the following link to learn how to clear your browser cache, and then try localendar.com again. http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache Please let us know if this corrects the problem or if you continue to have issues ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Posting on calendar Thanks for your response Marc...this is happening on all of our computers in the building and they were all ghosted over the summer, so the cache should be empty. The calendar is not allowing others to 'add events' only when we actually log in and we had the calendar set up to allow others in our building to add events. Something changed on our calendar, please help us fix it. Thank you so much!! |

Re: Posting on calendar It may also be your ISP caching an old version of the file. I've gotten a few emails about this - mostly from people who havent touched their calendar in a few months. For some, flushing the cache worked. Others just switched to a different browser. Unfortunately, there really has been no recent change on our side. I suspect an old javascript file is the culprit, but we are definitely not serving anything stale from our servers. You might try a different browser, or try from a different PC at home just to see that things should work correctly. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
