Need help with the HTML code I have tried the copying & pasting of HTML code after 'publishing' an interactive mini calendar to my webpage. It won't show up. I can get the full size interactive monthly calendar to show up, that HTML code works fine. What am I doing wrong - any ideas? Several of the larger calendars show up fine, but not the one I need! (our site, www.monroetown.com). Thank you for any advice! |

Re: Need help with the HTML code I guess I should specify that we used Microsoft Office Live to build this site, but we do cut & paste HTML code in on various spots throughout the site. This problem seems related to the mini calendar - as I said, I CAN get the full size calendar to show up - but can't use it because it's just too big! Hope this info is a bit more specific. p.s. we were trying it out on a hidden 'test' page - and nothing at all shows up, even after we get out of 'edit mode' and go out and view the test page live, nothing is there. |

Re: Need help with the HTML code Can you post the link to that "hidden" test page? The mini-calendar is a lot more complicated than the basic calendar views and it's possible something else on the page is interfering with its operation. But I'd have to look at it to diagnose further. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Need help with the HTML code Marc, As it turns out, we have figured out the solution. It seems that we need to cut & paste "your" HTML code into Notepad, save it and upload it to Office Live Small Business (OLSB) as a ".htm" document. We then need to call this from within an Iframe command. BUT...that leads us to our second problem.... What we would like to do is to display your mini calendar and beneath it display a list of events. Try as we might, we cannot see how to shrink the width of the "event list" so that it is the same width as the mini calendar (say 250 pixels). If we change the frame size to 250 pixels, then the event calendar is simply truncated, whereas we would like the capabilitiy to either shrink the font size and/or wrap the text in the available space. Is this possible? if so...how? Simply put we would like to replicate what we have currently got on our website (monroetown.com), but add the abiltity such that when we click on an event, the event will open up in a new window. The version we have no longer provides this functionality. Any suggestions? Many thanks. |

Hello? Support? Hello Marc, Sarah - we replied with a more detailed description of our problem on November 1st - could you please take a look at that post and let us know what you think? I have not yet brought this calendar onto my website because I am still waiting for this issue to get resolved. Thanks!!! |

Re: Hello? Support? Unfortunately, the particular calendar view on your site is not something we can replicate exactly. The closest we would have is the mini calendar view, which relies on pop-ups rather than the list you have under the mini calendar currently. It's an interesting presentation and one we'd consider replicating in the future. The closest we could probably do is the month-list view; but that would still require more space than what you currently have allocated. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
