Mini Calendar doesn't Show in Google Browser I have placed the mini calendar on my website and it works great in Firefox and IE. It doesn't show at all in Google Chrome though; it's just an empty space. I really need all browsers to access the calendar and Google is getting more popular. Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening on Google Chrome only are much appreciated. Thanks! |

Re: Mini Calendar doesn't Show in Google Browser We do test localendar for Chrome. Would you mind posting a link so we can see it (or not ;-)) on your site? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Mini Calendar doesn't Show in Google Browser I'm having the same problem. The mini-calendar appears as it should in Firefox 3.6.13 and IE 7. It does not appear in Chrome 9.0.597.107, Safari 5.03, or Opera 9.61. There is no blank space; the mini-calendar just isn't rendered. My website is located at http://www.pages.drexel.edu/~rh456/final/finalindex.html This is a prototype website for a class project. However, the mini-calendar will be moved to the library's live website (assuming it will consistently work) in a near-future upgrade. You should know that I did edit the code so it will pass W3C XHTML 1.0 Transitional validation (a requirement for this assignment). I replaced language="JavaScript" with type="text/javascript" and the & in the link with & amp; (without the space, but it doesn't render in this message unless I put it in). However, I just retested with your orignal code, and behavior remains as described above in all five browsers. Any assistance you can offer would be appreciated. |

Re: Mini Calendar doesn't Show in Google Browser Sure - Give it a try now. uUe to a recent jquery upgrade, there seems to have been a little bug supporting transparent PNGs in IE6, which was affecting the mini-calendar code for Google and Safari (yeah, we'll *all* be happy when IE6 goes away) Anyway, it was a very roundabout issue, but it should be corrected now. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
