Embedding multiple calendars - one with public only events, the other with public & private I'd like to have a fully interactive calendar embedded on my web site that requires a login and shows both public & private events. Ideally, I'd set it up so the login page doesn't take you to localendar.com, but allows the embedded calendar to show on my web site like here , but showing private events, too. Then, I want the public events to publish to a "Today + Happening Soon" calendar on my home page. I'd like for my "Today +" to look like it does here and my public/private calendar to look like the member "homegrowncalendar" Any help? Beth Thompson |

Re: Embedding multiple calendars - one with public only events, the other with public & private I think a login option that works with the embedded calendar is a good idea.. I'm not 100% sure what the interface to that should look like. It might be odd to have a big empty square with a login box on the middle of a page. Perhaps an empty calendar should show with a link on the bottom to "Login to view calendar events" (your thoughts?) We never show private events, even when a peron logs in though. I dont quite understand how you want the public/private thing to work though. Yes, you can already do this, if you already have code on your site that handles member access to secure areas. Here's what I would do: I would create 2 calendars (2 member logons). 1 for the Public events, and 1 for the Private events I would add my Public events to the Public calendar, and my Private events to the Private calendar. I would purchase Premium Personal on at least the Private calendar so that I could merge the Public calendar onto it. On my Public pages, I would include the calendar HTML for the Public calendar.
