Search Engine Indexing
If I embed a localendar in my website are search engines like google going to be able to index my calendar events?

It depends on how you do the embedding.

If you use an iframe, the answer is "no", since the content is technically always hosted at localendar.com.

If you use the "fully interactive" embedded style or the non-interactive embedded style which write JS directly into your page, then Google should pick up that content, since they are written directly into your page via JavaScript.

According to various posts (including this one: http://searchengineland.com/google-can-now-execute-ajax-javascript-for-indexing-99518), Google has been able to execute basic JavaScript for more than a year now as part of its crawl process.

Need more proof? Google "powered by localendar", and you will see tons of calendars that Google has picked up.
