New Pinboard-style view Hey Folks, We have a new Pinboard-style view available. Think of it as "Pinterest meets localendar" Sample: http://www.localendar.com/public/sample_pinboard The pinboard format is available for Day, Week, and Month views. You can set it as the default display format for your calendar under Options (General). Re: New Pinboard-style view some of my pins are covering the day, week, month links at the bottom left of the calendar that hides the choices to select. How can this be fixed? Can I just use the Month option instead of showing day and week? |

Re: New Pinboard-style view The panels on the Pinboard style view *do* have a maximum height. This is to prevent an event with a large description from becoming a gigantic single column of text on the page. What's happening is that you are using a huge image as part of your event title, and it's taking up more than that maximum height in many cases. Re: New Pinboard-style view We really like the pinboard calendar! Despite having chosen for the calendar to appear in French, there are many places on the calendar where we see words in English... This is preventing the calendar being widely adopted by the various collectivities. Can it be rectified? Perhaps the worst is on the week view, where it states at the top 'Week Of...'. We really hope that the background facility will also be available in French too... |

Re: New Pinboard-style view Hi Gourdon, We have the capability to add additional translations.. we have not put in 100% as you have noticed. If you want to post the text that is affecting your view with the French equivalent, I will see that is gets included. I am not sure about the "background facility" you mention. Do you mean the calendar editor itself? Re: New Pinboard-style view Hi, The main translation issue is when we display our calendar in week pinboard view, it will say, for example "Week Of 17 Juillet", when it should read "Semaine du 17 Juillet". That would help alot as the month view gives us such alot of events all at once it is a bit overwhelming! Other than that the date appears in English in each event but as it is also in French in the corner it's not so serious. The "search" button and facility are also in English - preferably these would also be in French... I was hopeful that the editor might soon be available in French as the options menu suggests... I am currently the only person who can do the admin. Other than that the calendar has had a great response! Thanks |

Re: New Pinboard-style view Yes, translating all the code on the editor itself has been a lot more work than we anticipated. If there are bits of English on the public calendar view (such as the Week of.. text you mention) and you would post a translation here, I will make sure it gets into the appropriate translation file. Re: New Pinboard-style view Translations for the public calendar view: Change 'Week of ' to 'Semaine du' If possible also reverse 'Juillet 28' to '28 Juillet' Change the 'Search' button to 'Rechercher' That would be great for now - I will pass along others as and when they seem to be necessary.
