Re: Import Calendar Data Please try again. I think we had a patch that was not properly pushed to production. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Import Calendar Data Still does not work. Now write: Uploaded file exceeds permitted size. Click here to return to your calendar. |

Re: Import Calendar Data I'm always concerned when one user reports a problem, and a different user responds.. Klub5 , are you doing the exact same thing as AndrejKo? Exporting from one localendar and importing into another? If so, can you please provide more specific details (what calendar were you exporting from, and importing into?) Or if you were doing something else... please provide the details. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Import Calendar Data Hello, I'm having the same problem as AndrejKo. I'm trying to import an ics file into my localendar and receive the same error: Upload does not appear to be a valid iCalendar (ics) file. It doesn't matter if I try to import it using the iCal, File Upload, or either of the Outlook tabs. The file I'm trying to import is from http://www.meetup.com/Lafayettech/events/ical/Lafayettech/ Thanks! |

Re: Import Calendar Data blencke, I think your problem is different than AndrejKo. AndrejKo was exporting from localendar an importing into another localendar. Your url is from a non-localendar calendar. Just sayin'. The first thing I did was go to the icalendar merge page (I selected the url for the iCal merge page from the iCal or Google tab on the import page. The direct url is http://www.localendar.com/cal?JSP=CalendariCal ) I put in the url for your calendar, and it imported perfectly. This is the best way to import an ical, since it's "live". If the source calendar is changed, your localendar calendar will be updated automatically. As another test, I saved your file locally as "meetup.ics". I went to the iCal tab on the Import screen, browsed to the file, and uploaded it. That worked for me as well. Can you please re-try and let me know if you can't get either of these methods to work for you? ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
