Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc We've become aware of an issue on one of our servers involving which has prevented some Contact Us messages from being received, as well as from some Subscriptions from being activated. This same issue would also prevent some reminders and emails from being sent (in fact, it all revolves around a particular disk's interaction with our message server) I'm personally manually activating about 60 subscriptions. Mail should resume normal delivery. The only item we cannot recover is Contact Us messages that may have been sent in the past several days. So if you haven't received a response (and not already posted your question to the forums), please re-submit your issue. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

![]() Mark: I need your help. I cancelled from your service last year, since I could not place any new events past Jan 2007. I posted on the message boards that I was having technical problems, and I even contacted you via the "contact link." I loved your product, but since I was not getting any reply to my requests I found another company. I sent out a cancellation request, but since I didn't get a response to my technical questions, I figured you guys just went out of business. Yesterday I discovered $29.95 was withdrawn from my pay pal account. this is the second time I have contacted you about this matter. Yesterday I recieved a Ticket #36146 ![]() Please refund my money. I have posted a claim with Pay Pal and hopefully we can resolve this matter. Sincerely, Mary Beth Wrenn |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc My Paypal account was charged on March 11, for an upgrade to Premium Personal that I did not authorize. This is after I upgraded to Premium Webmaster in February. Please refund the second charge (Premium Personal). |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc MaryBethWrenn - I see that you have cancelled your subscription. Good idea :-) Although I still don't understand your initial issue w/ adding events. Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Pa1oma, The 3/11 charge is not from us. I only show a charge of $29.95 to your paypal account on 2/17 for a Premium Webmaster subscription. (PayPal transaction id S-3K052425H2912092F) The only other record I have in PayPal for your account is a subscription cancellation on 11/6 (Paypal id S-3K052425H2912092F) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Please check your records for the Paypal reference above. I also emailed a copy of the Paypal receipt to the support email address so it might be in the spam box. Thanks! |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Pa1oma, I wish you had sent the subscription number. Otherwise, I have no method of tracking that payment. I stress that we have absolutely no ability to arbitrarily charge someones paypal account. They must voluntarily click on the Subscribe Now button on our site and complete a PayPal transaction (by signing in to their account, among other things). If I can look up the 3/11 subscription, I can tell you when it was made, and what the member name was (in case it was for a different calendar) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Well, I feel a little better that I'm not the only one being ignored. Like the others posted, please cancel my subscription. I was very interested in your product without the ads, but despite paying, the ads are still there. I cannot get anyone to contact me despite posting here, e-mailing, using the contact us form, and Paypal. Please...I just want a refund. I really, really like your product, but I can't use a product that doesn't have some support. If the person reading this is Marc, Marc, please...put me out of my misery. I have ticket #25139 and #75203. No responses from either ticket. |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Please, please, please get in contact with me. I really don't want to have to pull our calendar & I really do need to know if you even received our request to subscribe to the Premium Package, we have no paper work stating that you received it??? Like I have stated in the previous e-mail’s we are a school district & get very good feed back from your site, but the ads have got to come off & that's why we want the subscription. I have sent at least 3 email concerning this. Because we didn't fill in the Pay Pay thing, are we really not even subscribed with you? |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc So, now I get it. You "Contact Us" has not been working. So I filled in a reply, and come Monday, April 23, 2007 our school District is taking my/your calendar down. This means I get to make the whole thing all over again using someone else. Marc, can you just let me know if my payment got in? By reading other post, canceling you guys is not the easiest thing in the world? I'll hang on to you guys as long as I can, but I need some kind of answer? |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc FSD; The icons colors refer to the activity of a particular thread. I just manually upgraded your calendar - I also saw a # of outstanding support requests. Unfortunately, I no longer process these (monitoring the forums is difficult enough), so I am not sure why there is a backlog. Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc If you sent us a PO (meaning you subscribed "manually" and not via Paypal), then yes, you will have to manually re-subscribe in the future. Your account expiration date is in the small Premium Services box under the lefthand menu. Paypal subscriptions are automagically re-billed each year unless you cancel them via your Paypal account. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

![]() I'm a newbie so I'm still trying to get things to work. The biggest issue I have is when someone clicks to add event, they get the OOPS message. I also wanted to add the Discussion link, but I get an error message there to. I just subscribed and I would really like to get these things fixed. ![]() I would also like to know how to put the link back to my home page on the calendar. I figured out how to increase the page size to display all of the events on the list version, but it seems like there should be a scroll bar instead of having to make the page bigger. Any help available will be appreciated. ---------------------------------------- Hejaz Shriners "No Jazz Like Hejaz" No man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child. Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc lga2610 - your subscription shows active; are you still having any problems? HEJAZSHRINERS - The "oops message" is something we have been unable to determine the cause for - and it only appears to effect a small # of users. We're going to be turning off the message/displaying a more "ugly" developer-friendly error that I hope recipients will paste to the forum. That should let us track down the problem since we can't duplicate it internally. You can search the forums for more information on this, but that's the quick summary. You can use HTML in your calendar's footer to link back to your site. For example: <A href="http://www.mysite.com">Go Back to My site</a> If you don't want to increase the size of the table, you can add scrollbars by changing the generated HTML. For example: <IFRAME src="http://www.localendar.com/public/HEJAZSHRINERS" height=600 width=700 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 scrolling=yes frameborder=0 border=0></IFRAME> ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Thanks for the info on scroll bar. I will check it out and see if I can get it to work. The OOPs message is strange. Sometimes I can click on next month and then add event and it will work. The other problem I am having is the Discussion bar. When we click on it, it brings up the forums, etc, but when you try to enter one you get an error message. WWW.hejazshriners.net. Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc I'd like to see more text (a cut and paste) regarding the Forums errors you are seeing (and more detail about when they happen, if possible) Regarding the "Oops!" messages - there should now be an Error Id displayed when that message appears. If you (or anyone who receives one of these messages) can post it here, it should help us track down what's causing the problem. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc Again, it's been months that I've tried to get this resolved. I renewed the premium account for our school website back in December 2008. Ads started appearing and I was told you had no record of my payment. Sarah indicated I should tell you my transaction number from paypal but it is rather mysterious how one does this. I ended up posting it publicly on a blog entry. For a while, the ads were gone but now they have returned. Please just tell me what to do to resolve this...and how to do it. Thanks. |

Re: Subscription Activations, Contact Us, Mail, Reminders, etc johnhorn, One point of clarity: We have sent several emails which apparently you have not received (each email starts of explaining this, but I think you aren't getting them) I have extended your subscription for 30 days to give you a chance to get that Paypal transaction id. It's no mystery: Just sign into paypal and look at your recent history. As for the 'public blog entry' you mention- do you mean the forums? Since you don't seem to be getting our emails (check your spam folder?) this is probably the best way to make sure we're communicating. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
