Re: Premium Service - Public can't add events
Figured this out: I embedded my calendar to my website, but the embedded version does not offer the option to add events for the public. Help!

Which embedded style are you using? Have you tried the "fully interactive embedded calendar"?

Re: Premium Service - Public can't add events
Please let us know this embedded style! People were able to post events to my calendar until recently when it quit allowing that. I, too, am a premium subscriber and need this to work. Please provide the correct code or workaround if there is one.

I see the "Add Event" button correctly on your Public Calendar.

Are visitors will unable to add events?

Re: Premium Service - Public can't add events
If you push the Add Event button, it often comes up with a message box that says "oops, etc..." Today I noticed that if I tried this a couple, three times, it would finally work. But I'm not happy with that inconsistency. I have users emailing that this calendar doesn't work because they try to add their event just once (as they should be able to) and don't try that second or third time.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something in the code that needs to be changed?

Re: Premium Service - Public can't add events
There is an issue where some browsers, versions (??? - we have not been able to duplicate) will not correctly download the javascript files. And for some reason, eventually - they will (hence why you receive success after a few tries)

We have made many changes to attempt to address this without success because we just don't have enough information about what is causing the problem. Any information you provide about your browser, browser security settings, OS, browser version, pop-up blockers, etc will be helpful.

The problem is the pop-up! So this means the design or layout needs to be fixed. What I don't understand is why couldn't they simplify this by just putting a simple text box under the calendar. This would eliminate the annoying pop up with the oops error. I have tried this calendar on PC & Mac and get the same error.

Re: Premium Service - Public can't add events
When you say, "the problem is the pop-up" to what are you referring? Conflicts from pop-up blockers?

I like your suggestion about including the form on the bottom of the calendar. Unfortunately, given the way most people embed the calendars on their sites, there is not enough room for this method to work correctly.

Only certain members repeatedly get this error, but to date no one has stepped up (despite numerous requests) to help us figure out *what* it is about their configurations that cause this problem. If we could understand that, we could fix it.
