Sept 13 is showing before Sept 12. The 24th of Sept is after the 26th of Sept.
Here is our calendar.

Re: Pin up calendar dates out of order
The pinboard style view can't be read exactly like a regular calendar owing to the varying sizes of the boxes (though we try to get it as close to a "left->right" order as possible. For example, the placement of your Oktoberfest event might seem unusual.

The order of events is returned as Sep 12, Sep 13, but the layout logic for this view is very complicated, and may sometimes switch items around in an attempt to create the tightest arrangements of blocks.

Re: Pin up calendar dates out of order
There isn't a specific solution I can give you, because there are a number of factors that go into determining how the events are laid out. In a perfect situation where all of the events where the same height, they would always lay out in the exactly correct order.

Of course, height varies due to different images, descriptions, etc. So by tweaking the height of an event (either adding/shortening the description, cropping/resizing the image) you will change the layout math which might alter the position. It doesn't have to be on the event that's misplaced either; changing the size of any event basically alters the # of possible layouts available on the entire pinboard.
