Posting JPEG images to Description field
I'm just taking over the maintenance of the calendar for my club. I have been entering events with only text in the description field for several years with no problem. I have been trying to upload a JPEG file to post in the description field instead of typing in text (these are flyers that are emailed to me or print copies that I scan into the computer). Other people have been able to do this but I cannot get it to work. All I get in the field is a large blue box with the file name at the top left of the box . . . no picture ever shows up. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Posting JPEG images to Description field
I'm not sure if you're having an issue uploading an image, or inserting it into your description.

Here are instructions for uploading an image:
http://www.localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Uploading+your+own+Images

Once you have uploaded an image, you can add it to your event description using the "Insert/Edit Image" button on the description toolbar.

I think there might be an issue if the image file name is really long (>20 chars?) so you might check that as well.

Re: Posting JPEG images to Description field
I finally figured that out . . . I wanted to take it directly from my harddrive without uploading it to Localendar. My predecessor was using a third party picture posting site to get a URL to insert the image into the description. Since these are usually full page flyers, I was hoping to add the image to the description and after saving, delete it from Localendar, but I found out that the image is not stored in the individual event description file. When you delete it from the upload file, the image is no longer in the event description.
