Including a Local Search calendar on your site
Publishing a local search on your own site is quite easy, but unfortunately it has not been documented in our FAQ yet. Here's what you need to do..

Add a link on your page to
http://www.localendar.com/search/zipcode
where you replace 'zipcode' with the zip code for your local city.

For example, a local search in my area would be done as follows:
http://www.localendar.com/search/07974

You can specify styles just like with your published calendar by adding a style parameter to the URL, for example:
http://www.localendar.com/search/07974?style=M1

You can also vary the radius to include more or less events by adding a radius parameter, for example:
http://www.localendar.com/search/07974?style=M1&radius=90
the above url would return all local events within a 90 mile radius of the 07974 zip code, formatted in a list view for the month.

One last thing you can do is specify the starting date. To do this, you just need to add a start_date parameter.. for example:
http://www.localendar.com/search/07974?style=M1&start_date=12/1/04

Any of the parameters mentioned above (i.e. style, radius, start_date) can be included or omitted - the only requirement is a valid US zip code after the /search/.
