Connecting localendar & jotform?
I'd like for, when someone clicks on an event listed on a certain date, for an rsvp option to show, when clicked on a reservation form created in jotform appears, like here:

http://www.localendar.com/elsie?JSP=PublishedCalendar&mode=PUBLISH_PUBLIC&search_type=M0&start_date=10/01/11&calendar_id=437049

I did a search for jotform here and nothing came up, so a more general question would be, how to embed a form on a certain date? Thank you for any info.

Re: Connecting localendar & jotform?
I looked at the example, and also the jotform website. I don't understand how it works with Localendar (or how you would like it to work). When I click the 'RSVP' on the event popup, I am presented with a jotform. When I click 'Submit Form' who is notified, and is that through Localendar or some jotform program?

Re: Connecting localendar & jotform?
Thank you for the reply. When you click 'submit form' the information would go to my client, who is hosting events. I'm just not sure how to embed the jotform on localendar.

Re: Connecting localendar & jotform?
I did a quick test with embedding Jotform, and it was pretty simple since localendar lets you embed custom HTML on your event descriptions.

1) Create your form at jotform.com.
2) Click the Publish button on jotform, and select the "Embed" option
3) Copy the displayed <script>...</script> code to your clipboard
4) Create your event at localendar.com
5) On the Event Description toolbar, click the "Source Code" button (it looks like this: <> )
6) Paste the jotform code from your clipboard
7) Save the Event

When a visitor clicks the event from your Public calendar view, the jotform code will execute and they will see the form you created.

This is a cool product, we will probably clean up the steps above and put it on our wiki.
