Events are not emailing me anymore.
I've always checked to have events emailed to me and now all of a sudden, they've stopped coming.

Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Re: Events are not emailing me anymore.
Are you talking about an event reminder (e.g., 15 minutes before the event occurs) or a notice about when an event has been added to your public calendar?

Sometimes, an ISP may change their email filtering so that localendar mails are mistakenly classified as spam or 'bulk'. If you have access to a special folder for this auto-filtered mail, check it to see if your messages are appearing there.

Also, we frequently see errors in our mail server logs where a mail server will not accept delivery of a message. This may be due to the address being mistyped, the person's mailbox being full, or other reasons (one service once mistakenly classified all email from localendar.com as being spam). In such cases, localendar will try to re-send the message several times before giving up.

And of course, there can sometimes be a technical issue with our mail servers. But there aren't any in the logs for the recent past.

Re: Events are not emailing me anymore.
Thank you for the quick reply. And yes, this is for the event reminder.

I have never had any issue until now.

- I've verified that my email address is correct.
- My mail box is not full.
- Email settings have not changed as far as filters.

I'll have to check on the server not accepting mail from localender.

I hope that this is all that it is and this can be resolved.

Thanks again! smile

Re: Events are not emailing me anymore.
Create a test event with a reminder, for say, 10 am tomorrow.

On the remind email list, include your own email address, and also support@localendar.com (put a comma between the addresses). We'll see if the support account receives it.
